This website is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation shares information about its mission, referral-based services, workshops, daytime safe space offerings, and community resources related to domestic violence support.

 

This website does not provide emergency services, legal advice, or medical advice.

 

No Emergency or Overnight Services

Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation does not provide emergency shelter, crisis intervention, or overnight housing.

Daytime Safe Space Services

 

Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation may offer a daytime safe space designed to provide a supportive, calm, and resource-focused environment during designated hours.

 

Daytime Safe Space Terms:

 

  • Services are daytime only (Monday- Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday are for urgent, Short term needs.)

  • No overnight stays are permitted

  • The space is not a shelter or residence

  • Services may include access to information, light refreshments, charging stations, Wi-Fi, and resource navigation

  • No medical, legal, or counseling services are provided on-site unless clearly stated

Our Safe Space is designed to be a confidential, calm, and secure environment for survivors.

  • No guests, companions, or visitors are allowed

  • Individuals may not bring others with them into the Safe Space

  • No photography, video, or audio recording is permitted

  • Respect for staff, volunteers, and other participants is required at all times

 

To protect the privacy, safety, and healing environment of everyone we serve, the following rules apply when using Wi-Fi, computers, and digital resources at Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation’s Safe Space:

 

  • Internet access is limited to job searches, job applications, resume creation, housing searches, and essential resource connections

  • No social media access is permitted

  • No personal or outside email use (email use is limited to job-related or resource-related communication only)

  • No video calls, livestreaming, or recording of any kind

  • No downloading or installing software

  • Activity may be monitored to ensure safety and compliance

 

 

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in loss of internet or computer access.

 

These rules are in place to protect everyone’s safety and privacy.

 

Use of the daytime safe space is voluntary and subject to posted guidelines to ensure safety, respect, and privacy for all participants.

 

 

Mobile & Referral-Based Services

 

 

Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation offers mobile services on a referral-only basis.

 

Mobile Service Terms:

 

  • Services are provided by referral only

  • Walk-ins are not accepted

  • Mobile services may be conducted at partner locations such as shelters, community organizations, or approved safe sites

  • Services are non-emergency, educational, or supportive in nature

  • Availability is subject to scheduling, safety considerations, and resource capacity

 

 

Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation reserves the right to decline or discontinue mobile services if safety, eligibility, or capacity requirements are not met.

 

 Donations

 

All donations to Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

 

Donations support the organization’s general mission, including survivor support services, workshops, outreach, and community programs. Donations are not payments for goods or services.

 

Tax deductibility of donations is subject to IRS regulations and the organization’s tax-exempt status. Donors should consult a tax professional regarding eligibility.

 

 

Workshops and Educational Programs

 

 

Purple Urban Ribbon Foundation may offer workshops related to hair care, self-care, empowerment, and skill-building.

 

These programs:

 

  • Are educational and informational only

  • Do not provide licenses, certifications, or credentials

  • Do not replace professional training, counseling, medical, or legal services

 

Participation is voluntary, and outcomes are not guaranteed.
